The NBA finals continue to draw far fewer viewers than last year.

The San Antonio Spurs’ 75-72 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night received a 6.4 national rating and an 11 share on ABC, down 20 percent from the 8.0/14 for last year’s Game 3 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat.

The Game 3 drop follows a 30 percent plunge for Game 2 and a 19 percent decline for Game 1.

The rating is the percentage watching a telecast among all homes with televisions, and the share is the percentage tuned in to a broadcast among those households with televisions on at the time. A ratings point represents 1,114,000 households.

Those of you who are not aware of this fact, should sit up and take note. NBA basketball betting can make a lot of money for the bettor. NBA basketball betting has turned losers in sports betting to winners. NBA basketball is the easiest game to make money on. The game gives sports bettors many opportunities to place bets and win. The fact that it gives bettors the ability to win till the very end has made it extremely popular amongst sports bettors.

For the skeptics out there let us take a scenario. Say you were to bet a –8 point favorite in football and the game was tied and there is six minutes left. The ball is with the opposing team. In this case do you think you would have a realistic chance of winning? Most probably not. However, in an NBA basketball this is very much possible even if the clock shows two minutes instead of six.

Let us go to another example. The team you bet on is 22 points down at half time. This should not frighten you one bit. Each season NBA has games where a team is down by 10, 15 or 22 points and has come back to win the game. Like I said in the beginning, NBA basketball betting gives you an opportunity to win till the very last second of the game and no other sport has this to offer.

The are some NBA basketball bettors who opt for betting the total points in a game. The bettors who can get a feel for totals betting are amongst the most successful sports bettors. Totals betting at an NBA basketball game is full of winning opportunities and sportsbooks do not set them as well as a spread. This will normally end up winning you more money and increasing your bankroll.

NBA basketball betting is one of the greatest opportunities available to sports bettors and every year sports bettors and handicappers look forward to the NBA season so that they go forth and increase their bankrolls still further.

As players and coaches we know the value of each and every game. It is a privilege to compete in the game of basketball in the public arena. Each game is precious and should never be taken granted for. One underrated way to improve as a team and a coach is the subject of this article.

A game analysis process is a crucial piece of coaching that is often missed. Each game, whether a win or loss, must be objectively measured. This will be a valuable skill that you can begin doing immediately. The results of your efforts will yield big dividends down the road.

After the game, think about what your routine. Do you look at the stats or analyze them.? Do you look at or analyze your game plan? Do you toss the video tape on your desk and head home or view it carefully and objectively?

These are important questions because your work is just beginning once the buzzer sounds. The game must be wrapped up, analyzed, and specific observations must be noted. Key adjustments are noted for future use. Like many things, we tend to forget details a day or two later. These notes can be very essential as you prepare for your next opponent or for when you play the same team again.

Feel free to arrange this information to fit your own preferences. The following is my game analysis from our (Stetson University) game at the University of Florida.

A solid basketball system is a prayer answered for the players. If you have a system, you are in the top ten. Basketball systems help the players feel confident that they really have something more to show the audience, and that they have a strategy to help them win the game. Even if the basketball system is a horrible invention of a sick brain, it is something good. You can at least rely on your team, and team working is something really important for the future success. So, basketball systems are something inevitable. Let’s check how they work in practice!

One strategy is called the pro shot dominator. It has everything to make an awesome game. I don’t understand anything about angles and shots, but the players seem to adore it. They often practice at their new system. They have even made some improvements on the game.

It depends on the person whether he will fit in the new basketball system, or resist it. It all varies, because some systems require additional skills as well as muscle mass. There are a lot of basketball systems used by novices. If you are one of them, you should first try to exercise on your shooting. The play 21 is perfect for this, because all you do is shoot the centre and get your ball in the basket. It helps you develop your hidden talent, if you have any!

Basketball system is a proper thing to work on, if you are deeply concerned about your team. If all the players exercise on the same strategy, it develops their synchrony and helps them when they are playing with other team. That’s why it is extremely important to develop your own strategy, and work hard on it.

Basketball systems needn’t be professional. Some systems require professional skills, of course, but they are more complicated. If you only want to make team working, you may choose simpler basketball systems to follow and exercise on. The important thing is that they develop your shots and your coordination among the team players.

NEW YORK (Ticker) There’s a good chance Ben Wallace of the Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs guard Bruce Bowen will be facing off for the NBA championship next month. On Thursday, they were named teammates.

Wallace, a four-time and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and Bowen highlight the 2005-06 NBA All-Defensive Team.

Making his fifth consecutive appearance on the All-Defensive First Team, Wallace is joined by leading vote-getter Bowen who was named to the All-Defensive Team for the sixth consecutive season.

Also selected to the First Team were forwards Andrei Kirilenko of the Utah Jazz, 2003-04 Defensive Player of the Year Ron Artest of the Sacramento Kings, and guards Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and Jason Kidd of the New Jersey Nets, receiving their sixth and seventh All-Defensive honors, respectively.

Kirilenko is making his third All-Defensive Team appearance while Artest was named to the All-Defensive Team for the second time. Bryant and Kidd tied in votes received to round out the First Team.

Usually assigned to the opposing team’s biggest offensive threat, Bowen’s stellar one-on-one defense helped the Spurs hold opponents to 88.8 points per game, second in the league. Bowen received 26 first-team votes and 55 points. Wallace was also named on 26 first-team ballots and had 54 points.

Wallace was the only player in the league to finish in the Top 10 in rebounding (11.3, fourth), blocks (2.2, ninth) and steals (1.8, 10th).

Kirilenko, who had 44 points, led the league with 220 blocks this season and finished second in blocks per game (3.2). Artest earned 30 points and Bryant and Kidd each had 28 in voting among the league’s 30 coaches.

Denver’s Marcus Camby, Detroit’s Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince, Kevin Garnett of Minnesota and San Antonio’s Tim Duncan were named to the second team.
